Bikram Yoga is known as the original Hot Yoga, practiced in a room of 105 degrees and 40% humidity. The classes are 90 minutes long and involves a series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises performed in the same sequence every time you enter the hot room. The benefits of Bikram Yoga are many including weight loss, detoxification, increased lung capacity, improved muscle tone, improved sleep patterns, relief from seasonal allergies and injury prevention. At some locations, we offer a 60 minute express version of this class during the week and quarterly posture workshops to help you better understand the postures and its benefits.
What is a Hot Barre Class? A 60-minute mash-up of endurance, strength, and interval training all in the hot room we have come to love. This low impact, medium to high intensity workout set to music includes stretching, upper-body exercises using light free weights, plank work, interval training, and dance inspired exercises. All fitness levels are welcome! If you are looking for longer leaner toned muscles, increased stamina, stronger core, increased flexibility and balance, and cardio blast. This is the class for you! Inferno Hot Pilates is a High Intensity Interval Training, full body and low-impact workout that uses Pilates principles to strengthen your core. The work out is 60 minutes long and done to music. The class is conducted in a room heated to 95-100 degrees and 40% humidity. It strengthens and tones muscles, burns fat and is a perfect complement to your Bikram Yoga practice.
LifeStretch™- is a 60-minute restorative, mobility-stretch class that is conducted in a non-heated room. LifeStretch is designed to help clients become more flexible in body, mind, and spirit so that they feel not only more functionally mobile but also more capable to deal with the physical and mental demands of their lives. This comes from a non-competitive atmosphere in class that focuses on the innate physical intelligence and abilities within the individual. Instead of comparing oneself to others or to the person next to them in class, the participant is encouraged to find the best way to move and function for them, not some ideal.

Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) is the therapeutic application of extremely cold dry air, usually between -184F to -240F (-120C and -160C). WBC stimulates the body’s natural healing abilities, using extreme cold to induce responses on three levels: the circulatory system, the energy meridians and the nervous system. The history of whole body cryotherapy began in Japan, developed in Europe and migrated to the U.S. Clinical studies are numerous and focused on treatment of pain and inflammation from sports injuries, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis and skin conditions like psoriasis and dermatitis. Cryotherapy treatment forces your body to rapidly heal itself. These reactions include raising your endorphins, speeding the growth of new connective tissue and speeding up your metabolism. When treatment begins, your skin surface temperature drops to approximately 30 degrees in under a minute. This causes your body to stop trying to regulate your skin surface temperature and instead, your brain draws your blood to your core in order to protect it from the immense and sudden cold. While your blood is in your core, it picks up oxygen and nutrients which stimulate your body’s natural healing. As soon as your treatment is over, your brain sends that oxygen-rich and nutrient-rich blood to areas that it was unable to penetrate before due to inflammation and soreness. If you’re suffering from pain or any inflammatory condition, Cryotherapy may be just what your body needs.
You have no idea how much PEMF can help … until you try it!
Putting it simply, PEMF is a “Massage for Cell Membranes”. PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field. All body processes run on cellular function and each cell in our body uses energy as its fuel. When a cell is sick or injured, the energy (or charge) in that cell is lower than it should be. Think of your cell phone, when its charge is low it doesn’t work properly and eventually dies. The same is true for our cells; they use energy currents for metabolism which produces the fuel necessary to take in essential nutrients, efficiently flush out toxins and waste, function properly, and reproduce new cells. How well your “batteries” are charged determines how much work your body can accomplish. And how much work your cells perform has a direct impact on your health and your ability to heal after illness or injury. The number one sign that your cells need energy support is pain. Pain and fatigue are your body’s cry for help – it’s how your body gets your attention.
The PEMF machine creates a series of safe, pulsing electromagnetic fields. As the electromagnetic field is pulsed ON, electrons are excited and the cells are expanded and “Exercised”. The electrically charged cell membrane is gently pulled by the pulsating electromagnetic field and the cell is “Recharged”. When the pulse is OFF, the cells relax. As cells Recharge themselves, they heal and return to optimal health. This profoundly beneficial ‘Cellular Exercise’ and cellular rehabilitation helps to increase blood flow to the area and increases the permeability of the cell wall. In doing so, nutrients and oxygen are readily absorbed, and proteins are more efficiently metabolized for use within the cell and surrounding tissues. This also means that damaging toxins and cellular waste can exit the cell more efficiently through the lymphatic (detox) system, reducing pain and inflammation and improving the overall healing capabilities. PEMF Therapy optimizes cell function and enhances the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
